1. Students have six months to complete studies once enrolled.
2. It is the responsibility of the continuing education student to renew their license in a timely manner.
3. Refund policy: No refund after start of course or 7 days after enrollment. If student has not started course and requests a refund within 7 days of enrollment, a refund will be issued minus course registration fee. The registration fee will be as follows: 35% of tuition within 3 days after enrollment, 50% of tuition 4-7 days after enrollment. No refunds will be considered after 7 days from enrollment. (For students enrolled prior to June 4, 2010 the refund policy is as followed: Full refund, less $75 registration fee per course for cancellation prior to receiving course materials. No refund after start of studies or 30 days after enrollment or as previously stated above after receiving course materials. No refunds given in the month of December.)
4. I may contact the school Monday - Friday between 10 AM - 5 PM. If the office is closed I may submit email to help@charlesbarnes.com.
5. Upon completion of online course, students may download their certificate in the "Member Information" section of our website. If student cannot download certificate, you must contact school as this is an indication as a problem with your enrollment and your hours may not be sent to the OREC until corrected.
6. I understand that the information presented in the course should not be used as a substitute for competent legal advice.
7. If you have been convicted of any crime, or if charges are pending, or if you have delinquent unpaid child support or student loans, please check with the Real Estate Commission before enrolling in this class. The Commission will allow you to seek preapproval prior to enrolling in a prelicense course.
8. When taking exam prep, keep in mind laws and rules change and we try to keep our material as up to date as possible, but note that there is a possibility of running into material that has changed.
9. When taking tests, if the test is left open for more than 1 1/2 hours without submitting any questions, you risk loosing your test (currently each test will only give you 5 questions at a time before asking to submit).
10. When user account is created you agree to receive announcement e-mail from us and you have the option to remove your e-mail from our list.
11. All licensee's and new applicants must prove their United States or Qualified Alien Status.
12. All classes are subject to cancellation. Please call to confirm availability of classes. "Pre-Paid Enrollment" means signing up and paying for a course no later than 24 hours before class begins.
13. If enrollment status says "Pending" or "Not Enrolled", students will need to contact the office at 800-369-7277.
14. All new real estate licensees will be required to complete a criminal background check.
