I have been in the real estate business in Oklahoma for over 50 years! It has been a great experience. When I started on February 15, 1971, I sold 17 homes my first month and received as many listings. In those days, revenue from listings was but 10% of the commission. All real estate offices worked for sales, not realizing listings were the lifeblood of the real estate business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, things have changed. Listings generally pay as much as a sale. People are moving to Oklahoma in droves every day and looking for a home to buy; not to mention investors outside of Oklahoma investing into our state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I started, interest rates for FHA and VA loans were around seven percent, and even higher for conventional loans. Today, if you receive a listing, people from all over the country are ready to buy at unbelievably low rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We haven&#8217;t seen a &#8220;land rush&#8221; like this since 1889 in Oklahoma. If you have ever considered selling real estate, there has never been a better opportunity to enter the real estate business than right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t let the opportunity of a lifetime pass you by. If you are ready for hard work with long hours, in my opinion, there has never in Oklahoma history been an opportunity like this.
